Some corners remain out of sight. They still deserve to be seen.
We reach children and families whose needs may never find their way into the spotlight, and work with them to build genuine, lasting opportunities for a better future.

WHO WE ARE
Students working together to help families build more stable futures
We are a group of students brought together by a shared belief: being young does not prevent us from creating meaningful change in the lives of others.
Through The Forgotten Corners, we reach children and families whose needs may not receive enough attention. We seek to understand their circumstances and connect them directly with appropriate support while protecting their dignity and privacy.
Our work goes beyond short-term assistance. Whenever possible, we support education, help improve living conditions, and explore opportunities for families to develop sustainable sources of income. We also follow the progress of each intervention to understand what has changed and what still requires attention.
We believe that community action does not always begin with extensive resources. It begins with genuine concern, responsibility, and a willingness to notice the corners others may overlook.
OUR STORY
We look where attention rarely reaches
The Forgotten Corners began with a simple belief: every child deserves an opportunity. Families do not always need another short-term intervention; sometimes they need someone to see them, understand what they need, and help them build a more stable path forward.
We work closely with children and families, then connect them directly with people who can provide educational, in-kind, professional, or livelihood support.
WHAT WE DO
The right support, at the right time
We identify priorities with each family and seek practical responses that protect opportunity and create lasting value.

Alia
She has devoted her life to caring for her late sister's five children after their father left and both grandparents passed away.
The household lives on approximately EGP 1,500 per month, supplemented by limited seasonal assistance. This does not cover the children's growing living and educational needs.
A divorced mother living with her children in one room within her father's home, supported by a very limited income.
Her daughter has completed secondary school and her son is in his first year of secondary school. Both rank among the highest-performing students in their school.
A mother of seven daughters. Two are married, while five live with her, including three who are still in education.
She requires monthly treatment and regular follow-up for ongoing health conditions. The family's limited monthly assistance is insufficient for living, medical, and educational costs.
A divorced mother raising three children while living with advanced breast cancer that requires continuous treatment and care.
Her children also need varying levels of medical follow-up, including cardiac, blood, digestive, and post-surgical knee care. Medical needs overlap with the family's living and educational responsibilities.
Support is provided directly to the family, or payment is made directly to the relevant service provider or supplier.
